Topeka employees raised more than $37,400 for the March of Dimes during the March for Babies event in 2009. More than 180 registered walkers representing Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas participated in the April event, raising funds through pledges or donations for the March of Dimes. BCBSKS has been the number one corporate team in Topeka since 1999. One of the company's employees and her family served as the Ambassador Family for the 2007 event, as well.
