Blue in the Community - National Walk @ Lunch Day

Turn a Working Lunch into a Walking Lunch
Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas is gearing up for National Walk @ Lunch Day on Wednesday, April 28, and we want you to join us! Tens of thousands of walkers from across the country participated in last year's event and we hope you'll help make this year an even bigger success.

Please note new Topeka location!
BCBSKS is hosting a rally and walk event beginning at noon, April 28, at the Kansas Judicial Center in Topeka. We invite downtown Topeka employees, legislators and elected officials, and the public to join hundreds of our employees for a one-mile walk to celebrate National Walk @ Lunch Day. We will gather on the north side of the Kansas Judicial Center.

BCBSKS also is hosting a rally and walk event in downtown Wichita, beginning at noon at Kennedy Plaza at Century II. Our Wichita-based employees look forward to leading other downtown workers and the public on a one-mile walk along the river, ending back at Kennedy Plaza.

We encourage all our employer groups and members to get involved by walking at lunch – wherever you are.

Employers: If you'd like to organize a walk for your employees, we have tools available for you to use. You can download and print flyers or other informational materials to share with your employees in the Tools for Employers section. We also hope to track the number of employees at other companies who participate. If you plan to promote this event at your organization, please let us know by sending a note to community.relations@bcbsks.com.
