BCBSKS is an inaugural member of the newly formed Capital City Wellness project. This project, convened by the Kansas Department of Health and Environment, is designed to increase daily activity among employees in downtown Topeka and give access to healthy nutrition information and products.
Blue Cross also is represented on the workgroup that plans and implements activities tied to health and wellness. The workgroup consists of 35 businesses and organizations located in downtown Topeka.
