Premier Health Inc.
Premier Health Inc., is a for-profit, managed care subsidiary of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas.

was introduced in 1995 in the Topeka and Wichita areas and has expanded to other Kansas locations as health care providers in other parts of the state contract with the program. There are more than 40,000 members participating in Premier Blue.

Premier Blue is a primary care physician (PCP) - based managed care product that also offers a self-referral option and open access option. Members receive continued, coordinated care through their PCP, and the program encourages members to maintain high levels of health and wellness through low-cost office visits, tests and routine physicals.

Premier Blue Member Advisory Group
The mission of the Premier Blue Member Advisory Group is to "Improve member satisfaction with Premier Blue." The group is accountable to the Premier Blue Board of Directors and is responsible for evaluating and recommending improvements to the process of care, services and products. The composition of the advisory group includes members from the areas of the state served by Premier Blue, representing small and large groups, as well as individuals.

Advance Insurance Company of Kansas underwrites ancillary coverage such as group term life, disability, accidental death, and other products.
