S. Graham Bailey - Vice President of Corporate Communications and Public Relations

S. Graham Bailey became vice president of corporate communications in February 2004. In that role, Bailey is responsible for assuring consistency in communicating company information to all internal and external audiences.

Bailey has been employed with BCBSKS since 1974. During his tenure with the company, he has had positions in professional provider relations, first as a field representative, later as state manager. He changed his emphasis to marketing and public relations in 1985.

A 1971 graduate of the University of Kansas, Bailey serves as the corporation's official spokesperson and oversees all activities of the company's communications and public relations functions.

Bailey also serves as chief operating officer for the Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas Foundation and serves on its board of directors. He has been involved with the Topeka Head Start Advisory Committee, Oral Health Kansas, Inc., and the Topeka Community Foundation Board of Directors. In addition, Bailey is a former chair of the Topeka region March of Dimes WalkAmerica and is the former executive director of The Caring Program for Children.
