Mark G. Dolsky became vice president of group sales and marketing in October 2007. His title changed to vice president of sales and marketing in September 2008, when he assumed responsibility for the individual sales area.
Dolsky, who serves as the company's chief marketing officer, brings nearly 20 years of sales experience at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas to his position. He oversees sales and retention for large and small group and individual markets, as well as product development and market research.
Dolsky first joined BCBSKS in December 1989 as a group consultant for the company's Pittsburg office. He was later promoted to senior group consultant for the Topeka regional marketing office and went on to serve six years as the regional manager for the Wichita region. He has earned numerous annual and quarterly sales awards from the company.
The Holton native earned a bachelor's in business administration from Emporia State University in 1986. He holds the designation of fellow from the Academy of Health Care Management. He is a member of the Business Technology Executive Committee of the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association, and has served as president of the Sedgwick County Health Care Roundtable. Dolsky is a member of Sales and Marketing Executives of Topeka, and has been active in local chambers of commerce, Knights of Columbus, and the Boys and Girls Club of Topeka.
