Julie Hinrichsen became vice president of the information services division and chief information officer for the company Sept. 1, 2009.
She oversees a division that is responsible for computer information systems, computer hardware and software, voice/data communications, duplicating services, mailroom, all technical analysis and training, disaster recovery, workplace recovery, audit compliance with the federal, state, and local governing laws, project management, and system development life cycle management.
She has worked in the company's information services division throughout her 29 years of service, most recently as chief technology officer. Prior to that, she served 11 years as the manager of the information center.
Julie earned bachelor's degrees in business administration and marketing from Washburn University in 1999, and holds a programming certificate from Kaw Area Technical School. Julie also holds professional certifications in license management, Help Desk Institute – Help Desk Management, COBIT, and all four ITIL practioner level certifications.
Julie participates on the Topeka Technology Forum, serves on the Bryan Career College Advisory Board and is a member of the board of directors for the Kansas City Collie Club. She also is a member of the Collie Club of America and St. Matthew's Catholic Church. She is also a member of the local chapter of the Philanthropic Education Organization.
