Gary D. Shorman

Gary D. Shorman joined the BCBSKS Board of Directors in 2005 and currently serves as chairman. He is chair of the governance committee and also is a member of the compensation committee.

Shorman attended Kansas State Technical College and the University of Kansas, and completed the National Association of Broadcasters’ Executive Management Seminar through the University of Notre Dame. Since 1998, he has served as president/CEO of Eagle Communications, a company that owns and operates radio stations and cable television systems in Kansas, Nebraska and Missouri, while also providing Internet services.

Shorman lives in Hays.
