Thomas C. Simpson, M.D.

Thomas C. Simpson, M.D., was elected to the BCBSKS Board of Directors in 1996. He served as chairman of the board from 2000 to 2002. He is currently chairman of the Medical Advisory Committee and is a member of the finance, audit and compliance committee. He also serves on the board of Advance Insurance Company of Kansas.

Simpson holds degrees from the College of Emporia and the University of Kansas School of Medicine. Since 1978, Simpson has practiced medicine at the Sterling Medical Center.

He lives in Sterling.
