Job Summary:
The position of Small Group/Individual Sales Scanner Expeditor is responsible for entering required data into the Imaging system and to scan documents to be imaged for the Group/Individual Sales Department. The position will also provide back up support to the Small Group Sales Clerk and also perform various clerical duties. The position is directly accountable for imaging documents for the enrollment, underwriting and exception processes in a timely manner and assures that all documents are imaged in the correct queue and Formnum assigned.

Title: Temporary Prescreener/Clerk, #2014085

Job Summary:
To help out in the area within Benefit Coding/Group Master Audit. Duties will include: open dollars and prepare for accounting, initial prescreening of bills received, E-billing adjustment report, print bills and key check by phones.

Job Summary:
This position is within the Corporate Data Warehouse – ADHOC area of the Information Services division. The area is responsible for the ETL (extract, translate, and load) processes for the development of the data placed in the Data Warehouse. In addition, the Data Visualization staff provides assistance to clients throughout the organization. This position is responsible for development on assigned projects for systems analysis and design activities as defined by the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and performing computer programmer activities as required.

Preferred experience in the following areas:

  • Experience with DB2 z/OS, SQL, COBOL, Mainframe utilities, FOCUS, Microsoft products.

  • Concepts of infrastructure (e.g. network, storage, operating systems, security, data base, messaging, business continuity and disaster recovery).
  • Training in ITIL, COBIT, Agile, is preferred.
  • Must have two years total experience in Information Technology areas and/or systems.
  • Must have successfully managed assigned technology by performing regular and critical maintenance tasks within defined service levels.
  • Must have proven successful project management skills by completing assigned projects.

Salaried System Administrator positions require the following:

  • Must have five years experience in Infrastructure Technology or Application Development within BCBSKS or equivalent experience for external applicants.

  • Successful completion of the Infrastructure Advanced Learning Program is required for internal progressions.
  • Technical training with certification in assigned technology is required as applicable.
  • Internal progressions, without a Bachelor’s degree, must have completed the Blue University Leadership Discovery SALT and Pepper curriculum or Exploration curriculum.
  • External applicants without a Bachelor’s degree must complete the Blue University Leadership Discovery SALT and Pepper curriculum or Exploration curriculum within three years of starting this position.
  • Training in ITIL, COBIT, and Agile is preferred.

Knowledge of Work:

  • Demonstrate an aptitude to develop an understanding of basic infrastructure activities and logical thinking.
  • Basic knowledge of PC standard office suite and utilities.

Job Summary:

The position level is based upon the education, skills and experience of the candidate. A candidate could be placed in a salaried Developer or Lead Developer position.

Lead Developer positions require the following:

  • Bachelors Degree or completion of a Computer Science Program from a Technical Trade School preferred.
  • Internal progressions, without a Bachelors degree, must have completed the Blue University Exploration curriculum.
  • External applicants without a Bachelors degree must have completed a minimum of 80 hours in a structured leadership program.
  • Proficient in one programming language and familiarity with other languages required.
  • Must have eight years total experience in multiple Information Technology areas and/or systems.
