We offer our members Healthy Options, a series of disease management initiatives focused on asthma, COPD, diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure and high cholesterol. Our goal is to improve the overall health of members with these chronic health conditions by providing one-on-one support, education and tools.
This free program is designed to help members, ages 21 to 63, who have BCBSKS as their primary carrier. You can print disease-specific brochures and learn more about our Healthy Options program in the Resource Blue section, or by e-mailing dmspecialists@bcbsks.com or calling 1-800-520-3137.
Nurses from our Healthy Options disease management department are available to present a variety of wellness topics to your employees. Presentations are approximately 30 minutes. Contact your sales representative to schedule a presentation.
If your employees have been identified as having a chronic disease, they will receive a Healthy Options mailing based on the schedule below. The mailings contain brief tips about these specific diseases.
