Sleep Apnea and Post Operative Sleep Studies

Description
Physiological parameters of a patient asleep in a home setting are monitored for at least six hours. Cardiorespiratory and oxygen saturation measurements are made during the test. A physician interprets the results.

Policy
The sleep studies conducted in the home and follow up exam is considered experimental/investigational because it has not been proven an effective evaluation tool.
