Availity Workshops

In March 2012, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas announced that our contracting providers could begin to use the Availity® Health Information Network portal for eligibility and benefits verification, as well as claim status inquiries for BCBSKS members.

On August 19, 2013, BCBSKS will require all providers to access BCBSKS member eligibility and benefits verification, as well as claim status information from the Availity portal. On that date, BCBSKS member benefit and eligibility verification and claims status information will no longer be available on the BCBSKS secure website (BlueAccess).

BCBSKS will be offering workshops in Wichita, Topeka and Hays in late May. BCBSKS wants to make sure our contracting providers get the training and information needed in order to use the Availity portal. Click on a link below to register for a workshop.

All Availity workshops are offered free of charge. Dates, locations, and times are listed below. Register below with the workshop you wish to attend. Registration is limited to 2 participants per facility.

Casual dress is acceptable, but we advise you to bring a jacket or sweater since it is often difficult to control the temperature in meeting rooms.
