Workshops
Registration Information
Because seating is limited, registration is required. Registrations are taken on a first come first serve basis. Registration is limited to Blue Cross and Blue Shield contracted providers.
Seating Capacity: Computer classes will be limited to ten (10) providers. Each provider can have up to two (2) participants registered. Additional participants will be allowed as space permits.
Seating for classroom style workshops will be limited to 25 participants.
There are two ways to register for workshops:
1) Register directly through the Internet at www.bcbsks.com
Select ENROLL at the bottom of the workshop description. At the top of the next screen, the name of the workshops, location, date and time of the workshop will appear. Fill in the rest of the form and SUBMIT. An e-mail confirmation will be sent within 1 working day to confirm receipt of your registration.
2) Call Institutional Relations at: (785) 291-7838 or (316) 269-1609
For both registrations, you will need to provide your Blue Cross provider number/facility name, complete mailing address, names of attendees, contact name, contact phone number, contact e-mail address. If you have any requests for agenda items or questions, you can submit those at the time of registration.
One week before the scheduled workshop, a reminder will be sent to those scheduled to attend. Please notify us if the people that are registered from your facility will not be attending. People who are on the back up reservation list will be notified within the week prior to the scheduled workshop if room is available.
COURTESY
For the courtesy of other providers who may want to provide educational opportunities for their own staff, we strongly recommend that if you are not going to be able to attend a workshop, that you please call as soon as possible to remove your name from the registration list.
Providers who continue to register and not attend will not be able to register until 3 days prior to the workshop and then, will only be able to attend if space is still available.

HOURS
Full Sessions
9:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. (Sign-in at 8:45 a.m.)
Half-Day Sessions
Morning: 9:00 a.m. - Noon (Sign-in at 8:45a.m.)
Afternoon: 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. (Sign-in at 12:45 p.m.)
MANUALS AND HANDOUTS
Each workshop participant receives a copy of the training manual and/or any handout materials. These training materials are also updated regularly and posted to our website (www.bcbsks.com). Extra manuals will be available if requested during registration.
Providers who use the internet will be notified of updates through our e-mail list notification.
LUNCH
Lunch is on your own. We allow at least 1 hour and 15 minutes for lunch to allow participants time to leave, eat and return for the afternoon session.
