Altered Payment Schedule – Week of February 14, 2011
Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas will be updating our claim system to accept HIPAA Version 5010A1/A2. To facilitate the process and reduce risk to our members and providers, your BCBSKS remittance advice (RA) and payment schedule is being modified as follows:
Monday, Feb 14, 2011 – No change – regular RA/checks/PIP payment generated.
Wednesday, Feb 16, 2011 – Additional RA/checks generated in order to reduce the number of claims being stored in the BCBSKS payment system.
Monday, Feb 21, 2011 – Regular schedule resumes.
