General Equivalency Mapping (GEM) Tool
This week Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas posted to the Web a tool to assist providers with mapping ICD-9 to ICD-10 diagnosis and procedure codes. This tool is located in BlueAccess, the provider secure section. Once you have logged on, simply click ICD-10 Mapping under the Education heading.
