Spring 2011 Provider Data Audit
The Spring 2011 Provider Data Audit began on May 13, 2011. The Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association audits on a semiannual basis. The audit is used to validate provider information (e.g., name, address, phone number and specialty) that is currently published on the National Blue Doctor & Hospital Finder Web site and the FEP Online Provider Directory website. The vendor, Thoroughbred Research, will be calling providers from May 13 through May 24, 2011.
Thoroughbred Research is a contracted vendor of the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association for conducting data quality audits.
