No paper checks will be generated tonight, 3/4/13, for the regularly scheduled weekly payments. Check printing has been delayed due to a malfunction. BCBSKS is working to remedy the issue as quickly as possible. In the worst case scenario, the checks will be mailed out Thursday, March 7. Because our mail is now processed through the Kansas City mail facility, remember to allow 2-3 days for delivery.
Remittance advices may still be viewed electronically; however, the dates will show as if processed on 3/4/13.
Electronic fund transfers (EFTs) and checks generated for the Federal Employee Program (FEP) are unaffected. The FEP checks will be processed, printed and mailed according to the normal schedule.
