Kenneth W. Winter Joins Board of Directors for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas

Kenneth W. Winter, Dodge City, recently joined the Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas Board of Directors. Winter was selected to fill a vacant position on the board until the annual policyholders meeting May 8 at which time he will be eligible to be elected to a three-year term on the board.

The state’s largest health insurer is governed by a 16-member board of directors, which represents individual and group policyholders. Collectively, board members have experience in business, finance, investments, education, human resources, medicine and hospital administration.

Winter is the general manager of Winter Feed Yard in Dodge City. He earned a bachelor's degree from Kansas State University and is a member of the Kansas Cattlemen's Association. Winter has served on the USD 443, Dodge City Chamber of Commerce and Boot Hill Advisory boards.
