In all, school nurses, teachers and administrators in 79 Kansas counties will share $150,077.25 through 158 grants funding programs for the 2012 calendar year.

December 15, 2011 - For the fifth consecutive year, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas has been awarded the Highest Customer Satisfaction Award in the health care industry by the Service Quality Measurement Group (SQM). In addition to earning this prestigious award, the BCBSKS customer service center was recertified as a "World Class Certified Call Center." This means the company's customer service center performed at or maintained the World Class call level for six months or more.

Jan. 18, 2011 - Fourteen community health clinics providing care for underserved Kansans shared $64,230 in end-of-the-year grants from the Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas Foundation, according to Marlou Wegener, chief operating officer of the Foundation. The grants were provided to the clinics to help each serve a specific target population of their uninsured and underinsured clients, Wegener said.
