About the coalition
The Flint Hills Wellness Coalition was formed in April of 2011. It was created to work cooperatively with citizens and groups throughout the City of Manhattan and Riley County to develop community norms that support healthy behaviors and environments. This group is one of twelve other communities in Kansas funded through the Kansas Health Foundation to initiate work in the area of access to healthy foods.
