- Health coaching is available for members with medical coverage.
- Some employer groups have program exclusions or do not provide our health coaching as an option†. Contact your human resources department to inquire about your options.

No. These programs are provided at no additional cost to your existing health plan and will not affect your benefits.
No, but some employers may have wellness programming that provides incentives for participation. Improved health can lead to reduced medical expenses.
Our staff conduct calls during daytime hours Monday through Friday and evening calls are available Monday through Thursday until 8 p.m.
The first call will last about 45 minutes because you and your nurse will discuss your health history, medication, lab results and start the goal-setting process.
Follow-up calls are typically monthly and last 30 minutes or less.
Yes, you will work with the same nurse throughout your participation.
No. The content of all calls is completely confidential and is not shared with your employer nor with any other departments within Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas. With your permission, your nurse may communicate with your medical provider if needed.
