Matt Langdon

Vice President, Information Technology

Matt Langdon was promoted to the vice president of information technology and services and chief information officer (CIO) in February 2020.

Langdon leads one of the company's largest operating divisions, overseeing hundreds of employees who align the tactical execution of business needs with the company's strategic vision. The company's information technology and services division encompasses computer information systems and training, architecture, data analytics, voice/data communications, business strategy and development, duplicating and mailing services, disaster and workplace recovery, audit compliance and project management. He also oversees the company's claims department. The company processes nearly 20 million claims a year.

Langdon joined BCBSKS in 1997. He most recently served as chief architect in the company's information technology and services division. Prior to that, he served as an architecture manager, application architect and as a senior systems analyst.

Langdon earned a bachelor's of business administration from Washburn University, and graduated from the company's supervisory and leadership training program.
