Angela N. Wilson, DDS, joined the BCBSKS board of directors in 2018. She chairs the Dental Advisory Committee and sits on the board of Advance Insurance Company of Kansas and BlueCross BlueShield Kansas Solutions.

Dr. Wilson has been in private practice at Southwind Periodontics & Dental Implants, P.A., in Lawrence since 2001. She and her business partner opened a second office in Topeka in 2015.

She received her doctorate in dental surgery from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry before attending the University of Nebraska College of Dentistry for a three-year residency in periodontics. Dr. Wilson also received a master's in oral biology from Nebraska.

Dr. Wilson lives in Lawrence.
