Garrett Love

Garret Love joined the Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas board of directors in 2023. He serves on the finance and audit & compliance committee. Love is also a member of the BCBSKS Foundation board of directors.

Love is the founder and president of Love Land & Cattle LLC where he grows sorghum, corn, soybeans, wheat, and raises and feeds cattle in southwest Kansas. He currently sits on the National Sorghum Producers board of directors.

As the youngest state senator in Kansas history, Love served in the State Senate from 2011-2017, where he chaired the Senate Ag Committee and sat on the Health Committee. He and his family also operate Western Kansas Pheasant Hunts, a hunting outfitting business that hosts hunters from across the country on their farm.

He received his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Washburn University and his master’s degree from Fort Hays State University.

He lives in Montezuma, Kansas.
