How can I opt-in for text messages?

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas members are invited to Text BCBSKS to 26793 to receive important messages about your insurance.

Msg&Data Rates May Apply. You will receive fewer than 5 messages per month. You must be 18 years or older to participate or have parent/guardian permission. Text HELP for help, STOP to cancel. 

What are the types of communications I may receive? 

You might receive account, service, product information, and more. Please note, for certain account messages, you may receive texts from a number other than the short code you used to opt-in. You can control this type of messaging by setting your preferences in your BlueAccess account. 

Am I charged for any notifications I receive on my mobile phone? 

No, this is a free service. Depending on your mobile plan, standard message and data rates may apply. 

Can I opt out of mobile notifications? 

Yes. You are in complete control of this service and you can stop at any time. To turn off this service, text STOP to 26793.
