BCBSKS Member ID Card Update

Beginning in September, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Kansas (BCBSKS) will introduce a new format for member ID cards. This update aligns with the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association's branding guidelines and aims to enhance the clarity and efficiency of member identification.

The updated ID cards will feature a plan type indicator (PPO, PAR, EPO) prominently displayed in the bottom corner. Instead of the traditional suitcase logo for out-of-service area coverage, these acronyms will be used on all cards.

It's important to note that Medigap and ancillary-only coverage cards, such as dental, are not affected by this change. The redesign is aesthetic and does not indicate any changes to existing benefits for the current coverage period.
