New Look for Electronic Out-of-Pocket Max Information

Beginning Oct. 22, 2026, providers will notice a change to responses received for eligibility and benefit inquiries submitted electronicallyfor Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas (BCBSKS). For members without an out-of-pocket maximum, the  remaining amount information and the out-of-pocket maximum will return as $0 rather than a blank value. This is a cosmetic change only and does not impact member benefits.
