Physical Medicine Workshop

Join the Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas (BCBSKS) Provider Relations team for an interactive virtual workshop focusing on physical medicine topics. Register using the Teams link.

Topics will include: 

• Overview of BCBSKS physical medicine coverage and key resources, including how to use the Physical Medicine Manual and related tools for policy guidance and quick reference.
• Review of BCBSKS policies and procedures for chiropractic, physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy providers, including coverage expectations, care classifications and compliance considerations.
• Documentation, coding and billing highlights, with an emphasis on common requirements, medical record standards and audit focus areas.
• Program updates and billing considerations, including Quality-Based Reimbursement Program (QBRP) incentives, telemedicine limitations and available provider support resources.
