Reconnecting to Change Healthcare

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas (BCBSKS) is in the process of reconnecting to Change Healthcare (CHC) for claim submissions, remittances, real-time claim status and eligibility and benefit inquiries. Services were disconnected on February 21 following a CHC cyber security incident. After reviewing the security parameters for CHC, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas leadership made the determination to reconnect services.

Please note that this reconnection is for professional and institutional lines of business only. We are currently awaiting a timeline from CHC for dental-related claims.
