Transition of BCBSKS Medicare Advantage ERAs to Zelis

Due to a change in vendors, effective June 17, 2025, Blue Cross and Blue Shield (BCBSKS) Medicare Advantage (MA) electronic remittance advices (ERAs), also known as 835 files, will transition to Zelis for delivery.

If you currently receive Medicare Advantage ERAs (835 files):
To ensure uninterrupted access to 835 files, we have asked EDI clearinghouse partners to register with Zelis prior to the transition date. For assistance with registration or additional details, please contact Zelis at 877-828-8770.

If you receive paper checks, no action is needed. Thank you for your attention to this important change.
