To have an affordable product, we need to ensure our members get the best value for their dollar. We are constantly looking for ways to cut costs without sacrificing customer experience. In 2025, we:

  • Offered Blue MedicareRx Essentials, a $0 premium prescription drug plan for Medicare members
  • Had the lowest administrative fees of any Blue Cross plan -- 88% of every premium dollar pays for member care
  • Launched digital features that improve customer experience and cost savings
