Reminder: Credentialing Requirement for BCBSKS Providers
Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas (BCBSKS) recently announced an upcoming credentialing requirement for all network providers. We want to remind you of this important change and encourage you to prepare now.
Effective July 1, 2026, all providers in the BCBSKS network must complete credentialing to remain an in‑network provider. If credentialing is required, the BCBSKS Provider Network Solutions Credentialing Team will contact you directly using the email on file. Timely response is important to avoid delays or potential disruption in network participation.
The information below highlights what this requirement means for your network participation and what to expect moving forward.
- Network participation will not be impacted while credentialing is in progress.
- Failure to complete credentialing may result in termination or a potential gap in participation, which can affect claims and reimbursement.
