How it works
With SmartShopper®, your employees can easily compare convenient, high-quality, in-network locations for common medical care and be redirected to the most cost-effective facility of their choice. In addition to lowering their costs, employees earn a share of the overall savings as cash rewards of $20 - $425.
Shop
When the doctor recommends a routine medical procedure, the employee calls the SmartShopper Care Concierge Team or shops online.
Select Location
Employee has procedure at the reward-eligible location of their choice.
Earn Rewards
Once the procedure is complete and the claim is paid, a reward check is mailed to the employee's home.

All members that have Medicare or Medicaid (or some form of managed Medicare or Medicaid) as their primary insurance are not eligible to receive incentive rewards under the SmartShopper program.
